Familiarization with Bangi & Kajang

Assalamu alaikum

  1. Last Saturday was a great outing with my wife and son.
  2. We decided to take a drive to Kajang and Bangi to get used to the ways there.
  3. We left after Zohor and took the Cheras Kajang highway, paid Rm1.90 toll and drove into Kajang town.
  4. Quite heavy traffic but we managed to locate sate kajang, next to the stadium. We drove straight to Bangi and found our way to Alam Sari.
  5. Since the bridge connecting the main road to our house is open to access, we drove in and spent some time there for planning. I hope we can build a swimming pool there!
  6. Then i remembered my friend has a cafe in Bangi. So we called him and met at his cafe.
  7. I have to say I am impressed with the selection of dishes and the pricing. Slightly below par with other cafe in terms of pricing. I love the ABC (comes with durian & ice cream) and the cauliflower chicken...hehehee. Congrats Nik. A good setup indeed.
  8. Then we are off back to Kajang to have the famous sate in Malaysia. Parking was a hassle, but the sate was a pleasure. Will definitely come again.
  9. We call it a day at about 10pm, driving back to Pandan Jaya. Deep down in my heart, it was a good outing for us.
  10. Filled with food, delicious food that is, the company was amazing and i was telling my wife " I will be comfortable in Bangi."..
till then...

Birthdays, Happy Days & Water Canon Tear Gas Day

Assalamu alaikum

Birthdays

  1. July. In my phone calender there are a full list of birthdays to celebrate and wish. Special birthday wish to my father in law, Surianti, kak Imah (sis in law), Norman, Ramzu, Hasni (my dearest friend), Syafii (my buddy), Naz (my lovely sis), Yazid (good friend), and some friends or family members whom I left out. May ALLAH shower His blessings onto you.
  2. 22 July, my birthday. Thanks to everybody for their well wishes. I got a watch and a perfume for my birthday and not forgetting all the cakes. My sis cooked biryani and my wife took me out for lunch at Chilli's. Yummy. Make me fat, ladies!
  3. Then comes this story. My car had problems on the eve of my birthday. I was close to devastated. How was I suppose to take my family out for a treat?? It gave me some thought though, that the car is at its 6th year now and it needs some 'repairs', just like me. With history of some major sickness, I should be doing some 'repairs' before its too late.!
  4. Nevertheless, I had an enjoyable day for my birthday. Whacking all the food that comes to my plate. Yummy!!
Happy Days

  1. On 26th of July, Liverpool FC came to Singapore for their Asian Tour. I was excited as this will be the first time I will be watching my favourite team playing live.
  2. I requested my cousin to get me the tickets and they did manage to do so.
  3. On Saturday, they had a boat tour along the Singapore river. I lost my voice shouting for names. Carragher, Torres, Alonso, Riera to name a few. My cousin & I even chased the entourage to the other side of the area (dont know the place as am not familiar with Singapore).
  4. On Sunday, the friendly match between Singapore national side and Loverppol starts at 7pm, but we were there at 4pm!
  5. We got burn but it was a well worth burn, man! Cheers and shoutings and jumping and singing...had a SUPERB time.
  6. And of course there are 2 donkeys that came to the stadium using a MU jersey. He was lucky he did not get bashed up. Kudos to the security who took him away. WE HATE MU.
  7. With all the hype, i still miss my captain marvel, the great Stevie G, whom had to attend to a court hearing in UK. But with Torres and friends around, the adrenalin keeps pumping.
  8. Special thanks to my 1st cousin, Abg Haniff & Sis Rose for the tickets. 2nd cousin, Zansheer. Had a blast with u bro...happy to do it again with you...anytime...
  9. Liverpool FC...thank you for coming. YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE...

Water Canon & Tear Gas Day

  1. Malaysian police are known to be very poor in dealing with crowds.
  2. Some quaters wanted to send a memorandum to the King and the abolishment of Internal Security Act (ISA), which detain people wihtout trial.
  3. So they went out to the streets, gather around and walk towards the Istana.
  4. However, the police are not so fond of people getting on the roads for a walk. They would rather control traffic of that of cars, buses, lories and so forth.
  5. So when the police panicked, they start to use water canon & tear gas to disperse the crowd. How lame!
  6. The crowd did not throw any molotov cocktail, nor burn anything. They just want to walk on the roads in KL.
  7. And its sickening to see that BECAUSE of the water canon spray and the tear gas, many of the traders stuff got broken. and guess what, the police is blaming the public.
  8. Malaysia Boleh!
till then..
