Assalamu alaikum
ALLAH
1. The hu-ha of the Catholic Weekly paper wanting to out the name Allah in their publication was put to court in 2008. This is nothing new, as Christians always wants to find a way to destroy Islam.
2. It is just a few days a go that the high court ruled in favour of the paper and it created a huge cry from Malaysian, namely Muslim.
3. This can be looked into 2 different views. One, if the word Allah being used in Christianity, they are to believe that there's only 1 God and that is ALLAH. The trinity concept is totally wrong. This message must be pass thru our generation in order for them to know that the true religion is Islam and not Christian or others. Furthermore, its 'barakah' if the Christian say the word Allah often and maybe they can convert into Islam for that. Secondly, since our younger generation is not well versed in Islam, the using of the word ALLAH will give them confusion on which religion is the right ones. Thus, the word Allah must be solely for Islam and other religion must use the word God or Lord or whatever they want to call it.
4. Another issue here is that the Govt took quite some time to file an application to the High Court/Court of appeal. If this is the utmost important issue faced by Muslim Malaysian, as majority of our Govt staff are, then it should be done the way they treated the high court decision for Perak state govt. I might be wrong, but i think they took less than 24 hours to strike out the decision of high court allowing Pakatan Rakyat to rule Perak. This shows that the govt is putting less priority into this.
5. Malaysian should not shout aloud on this as this is not the only issue here. Not only the usage of the word ALLAH is important, the syariah laws that comes with it are more important. We do not need to do street demonstration for this if we do not implement the syariah laws in this country. Barking on the wrong side of the fence.
MALAYSIAN FOOTBALL
1. It was a joyous occasion when Malaysian all over the country saw the SEA games gold medal for football finally belongs to us. Some may have negative views on the level of football not at SEA Games but at Asia level, I still think that we got some fighting spirit in our footballers to go further.
2. I just want to comment on the payout they received from FAM. We must change our attitude towards rewards in sports in Malaysia. We should have a benchmark on the level that any athlete reaches that level, the rewards are so and so. Not the other way round.
3. Kudos to Rajagopal & his team for the great effort.
till then...
